  2. User Consent: Before accessing your Google Drive, we will request your explicit consent. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.

  3. Personal Data: We collect minimal personal data, such as your name and email address, to personalize your experience and provide essential services.

How We Use Your Information

  1. Google Drive Access: Our application requests access to your Google Drive account to perform specific actions within your project directory tree. This includes reading, writing, and managing files and folders only within the scope of your project. We do not access files or directories outside of your designated project area. Before accessing your Google Drive, we will request your explicit consent. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings. We use the access granted to perform the following actions, in your GridX's project folders in your Google Drive:

    • Upload files to your GridX project folders in Google Drive.

    • Organize and manage files based on your preferences, in GridX project folders in Google Drive.

    • Retrieve files and folders from your GridX project folders, in Google Drive.

    • Delete files and folders from GridX projects folders, in Google Drive.

  2. Personalization: Your name and email address help us personalize your experience within the application.

  3. Service Updates: We may use your email address to inform you about service updates, new features, and important announcements related to GridX.

Data Retention and/or Deletion

  1. Subscription Information Data:

    • When you subscribe to GridX, certain personal information is collected. This includes details like your email address, name, phone number, and organization information.

    • Data Retention Period: GridX retains this subscription data for a period of 90 days after your subscription expires.

    • Purpose of Retention: The purpose of retaining this data is to inform you about the expiration process related to your subscription.

  2. Application Data During Active Subscription:

    • While your subscription is active, GridX interacts with various application data:

      • GridX Project Data: This includes information related to your GridX projects.

      • GridX Google Drive Data: GridX manipulates data within Google Drive directories associated with designated project areas.

      • Actions performed on this data are based on your interactions with GridX applications during the active subscription period.

  3. Actions After Subscription Expiration:

    • Once your subscription expires:

      • GridX's Database Server: The project data stored in GridX's database server (which GridX maintains) will be deleted.

      • Google Drive Access: GridX will no longer access the project data stored in Google Drive. It becomes your responsibility to maintain that data.

Limited Use

  1. Purpose: We use Google user data solely for providing or improving user-facing features within GridX.

  2. Google API Service User Data Policy's compliance: GridX's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Security

  1. Encryption: Files uploaded to Google Drive are encrypted both in transit and at rest.

  2. Industry Standards: We follow industry best practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Sharing Your Content

  1. Private Content: The content you save on Google Drive remains private unless you choose to share it with others.

  2. Third-Party Access: We do not share your content with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
